City Hall has sanctioned demonstration
The Yerevan City Hall has sanctioned a February 25 protest action to be staged near the Georgian Embassy in Armenia.
On February 18 representative of "Javakhk Patriotic Union, "Mitq" analytical centre and "Yerkir" NGO, Shirak Torosyan notified the City Hall of the demonstration due at 12:00-13:00, February 25. Representatives of about 20 non-governmental organisations will participate in the demonstration. Organisers of the rally declared today that they will raise the issue of Javakh until the Georgian authorities take their demands into account.
Remind that on February 24-25 a Georgian delegation headed by Parliament Speaker David Bakradze will arrive in Yerevan for a two-day visit.
