Sargsyan says willing to mitigate consequences
Support A1+!On February 18 Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), comprising Executive Director Ah Backer, Vice-President of the Directorate for Middle East and Central Asia Lorenzo Peres, Head of the IMF Mission to Armenia Marc Louis and IMF Permanent Representative in Armenia Nicke Oomes.
Serzh Sargsyan highly appreciated Armenia's cooperation with the IMF and expressed gratitude for the assistance rendered to Armenia. He reconfirmed the authorities' willingness to take active and practical steps to mitigate the consequences of the global financial-economic crisis.
The interlocutors discussed the programmess and perspectives of cooperation between the International Monetary Fund and Armenia under the conditions of the global crisis.
