“DEMOCRATIC WAY” CALLS FOR LOWER FEES
Support A1+!The “Democratic Way” party sent an open letter to heads of “ArmenTel”-“Beeline”, “VivaCell-MTS”, “Water-Sewer”, “ArmRusGazard”, “Armenia’s Electric Networks” and other companies that have monopolies and provide public services with a call to lower fees.
The declaration of the “Democratic Way” political party council states:
“Taking into account the colossal global financial crisis, attaching importance to the financial-economic crisis that unfolds in Armenia on a day-to-day basis due to objective and subjective reasons and the criminal inaction of the RA administration, taking into account the fact that the majority of the RA population has found itself in difficult conditions, which will lead up to the danger of a social outbreak, we appeal to you with the hope that you will show a balanced approach in economic relations with the people:
a. be flexible and show mutual tolerance in regard to service fees
b. discuss the issue of reducing service fees with the Public Services Regulatory Commission taking into account the sharp decline of prices in the global market
Otherwise, you and your companies will contribute to the deepening instability and social outbreak in the country.”
