The 70-th birthday of Vardges Movsesyan was marked in the Drama Theater of Gyumri. “I cannot fancy this smiling, blue-eyed man, who could celebrate his jubilee today,” a childhood friend said.

Honorary art worker Nikolay Tsaturyan recollects him as a diligent student. “He always had a surprising aspiration to study,” he noted. Any performance staged by him was a success in any Armenian theater.

Chairman of the union of theater workers of Armenia Yervand Ghazanchyan remembers Vardges Movsesyan as a unique individual and playwright, whose life was taken by the devastating earthquake in 1988, reported Tsayg TV company.
