As informs press secretariat of the Court of Cassation, a new judicial system functions in the RA started from 1 January 2008 – Common Jurisdiction Courts of First Instance, Specialized Court, Administrative Court, Appeal Court and Court of Cassation.

Thus, seven new courts are established, six civil and specialized penal courts and one Administrative Court.
