RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsian met with U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates in the framework of the visit to the United States. During the conversation Serge Sargsian turned to the provision of American military assistance to South Caucasian countries. Robert Gates, in his turn, highly appreciated Armenia’s participation in the reconstruction of Iraq.

The RA Prime Minister met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation John Danilovich at the MCC headquarters.

Later in the evening US Vice-President Dick Cheney received Serge Sargsian at the White House.

Today the Prime Minister is scheduled to have a meeting with the editorial board of “Los Angeles Times”. Later Serge Sargsian will meet with the top management of the Lincy Foundation.
