CONSULTATIONS AT PRESIDENT’S OFFICE
Support A1+!The process of reforms of the Ministry of Defense was under consideration today during working consultations at RA President's Office, featuring the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Domestic Affairs, the Head of Staff of RA President’s Office and other top-level officials.
The reforms are mainly aimed at strengthening civil control over the Ministry of Defense, rise of the efficiency of the system’s management and optimal use of resources, the President said
Noting that the work proceeds normally, the President attached great importance to the final agreement on some conceptual questions, which will enable to move forward faster.
The consultation participants turned to the draft law on special civil service to be passed by yearend.
Summing up the consultations, Robert Kocharian said there is a lot to do and instructed to act in compliance with the preset schedule.
