SERGE SARGSYAN RECEIVED THE PRESIDENT OF GREECE
Support A1+!RoA Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan met with the Greek delegation at the head of President Karolos Papoulias who is in Armenia on a state visit.
Karolos Papoulias emphasized the high level of bilateral political relations and the Armenian-Greek ties on the international arena. Greece has certain experience in European integration and activity in the Euro-Atlantic framework and is ready to help Armenia on the way of accomplishment of foreign policy priorities, the president said.
The parties underlined the importance of the Armenian-Greek Intergovernmental Commission in the development of economic cooperation. The dwelt on the spheres of agriculture, trade, tourism, education, which according to Serge Sargsyan, are the RoA Government's priorities Serge Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the assistance to our country in various spheres, emphasizing the cooperation and support in the military sphere. The Prime Minister attached great importance to the enlargement and further development of this partnership, especially in a period, when Armenia is executing an Individual Partnership Action Plan with NATO and the experience and support of Greece can be of great use.
