According to the decree of Robert Kocharyan Sergo Eritsyan was appointed the councilor of the RA President.

According to another decree of the President Ara Ayvazyan was dismissed from the post of the RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Chile and Eastern Republic of Uruguay and Vladimir Karmirshalyan, RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Argentina was appointed instead.
