FROM PARIS TO SAINT PETERSBURG
Support A1+!At the invitation of Jean Claude Gaudin, the deputy Speaker of the French Senate, the delegation of RA NA Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan will leave for France on April 22-25.
During the visit the Speaker will meet Speaker of the French Senate Christian Poncelet, the Senate Vice-President and mayor of Marseilles Jean-Claude Gaudin, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Pierre Lellouche, Secretary in General of UNESCO Koïchiro Matsuura, and members of the Armenian community in France.
On April 24 the delegation will participate in the opening of a monument to the victims of the Genocide in Marseilles.
On April 26 the RA NA Speaker will leave for Saint Petersburg to participate in the events dedicated to the 100th birthday of the Russian State Duma. Within the framework of the visit Arthur Baghdasaryan will meet with PACE President Rene van der Linden, chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly Sergey Mironov, Speaker of the Milli Mejlis Oktay Asadov and OSCE PA President Alcee L. Hastings. As a co-chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization Arthur Baghdasaryan will sign an agreement with the EurAsEC.
