THE RA IS NEGOTIATING WITH THE EU

Today the RA President Robert Kocharyan received the EU triple delegation at the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry State secretary Hans Winkler.

The key issue of the meeting was the expanding negotiation between the countries of the EU and South Caucasus.

While giving his evaluation on the EU growing interest towards the region President Kocharyan focused on the final adoption of the Armenian activity program in the framework of new neighborhood policy and mentioned that it will greatly contribute to the Armenia -EU further cooperation and will make this relationship more comprehensible.

“We deem this program as a bridge between the two sides relations which gives a new possibility to make systemized reforms,” underlined Robert Kocharyan.

Then Robert Kocharyan referred to the recent developments of the Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement negotiations and presented the Armenian approach to the regional and energy security negotiations issues.
