LAST MEETING OF RA AND NKR SPEAKERS
Support A1+!Today the Speakers of the Armenian and NKR National Assemblies held their last working meeting as NKR NA chairman Oleg Yesayan will not take part in the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 19.
The parties discussed the outcomes of joint activities and noted that all the items of the agreement on interparliamentary cooperation signed 2 years ago have been fulfilled and the cooperation has reached a new level. Oleg Yesayan familiarized Arthur Baghdasaryan with the outcomes of the NK National Assembly of the third convocation and the pre-election processes in Karabakh. O. Yesayan assured that the elections will be fair and over 50 international observers will arrive in Karabakh. The National Assembly of the third convocation has passed twice more number of laws than the former parliaments. Parliamentary elections, formation of temporary commissions have become a tradition.
Due to formation of representation in the RA NA contributed to consolidation of immediate working ties between the two parliaments and frequency of mutual visits.
