MEETING OF ARMENIAN AND AZERBAIJANI FMS TOOK PLACE

By the preliminary agreement, the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs with participation of Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk Group took place this morning in Brussels as the continuation of deliberations in Sofia.

Under the official press release consisting of little information, Ministers exchanged thoughts over some issues arisen in the present phase of settlement of Karabakhi conflict. After discussions the parts plan resuming “Prague meetings”.

The same day Minister Vardan Oskanyan met Heikki Talvitie, EU Special Representative for Southern Caucasus. Issues over EU-Armenia cooperation in the framework of new neighbourhood policy were discussed. Nagorno Karabakh conflict was referred to.

After noon the annual meeting of Foreign Affair Ministers of Euro Atlantic Cooperation Council took place. Armenian FM made a brief speech.
