USA AMBASSADOR HOSTING ARMENIAN OFFICIALS
Support A1+!USA Ambassador John Ordway received several Armenian high rankers on the building yard of the new Embassy.
Yerevan Mayor Ervand Zakharyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruben Shugaryan, Armenian Police Vice-Head General Varyan, President’s staff head Artashes Tumanyan, Yerevan Architect-in-Chief Narek Sargssyan, and the representatives of Cadastre State Committee were in the Armenian delegation.
The territory for the new Embassy erection occupies 90.469 square meters. The five-storey building of the Embassy, Office of USAID, the two-storey structure envisaged for marines, the building for general services, the storehouse and the two guard stations will be located there.
42% of construction work has been implemented till now, and it is planned to finish building in December, 2004. Citizens will again have free access to Yerevan Lake, which is the property of Armenia.
