ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO LEAVE FOR GERMANY

On January 14 president Robert Kocharyan will arrive for a 2-days’ visit to Germany. Armenia’s president is visiting Germany for the first time during more than a 10 year’ history of Armenian-German interstate relations.

Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Economic Development, Finance, CB Chairman, MP Hranush Hakobyan, Armenian Ambassador to Germany Karine Ghazinyan, other officials are in the delegation headed by Kocharyan. Businessmen and journalists as well will accompany the president.

Robert Kocharyan will meet German president Johannes Rau and Germany federal PM Gerhard Schroder. Meetings with Bundestag Chairman Wolfgang Tirze, Vice-PM , Foreign Affairs Minister Yoshka Fisher are envisaged.

On January 15 Armenian delegation will return Yerevan.
