Upon receiving information on the situation of NA Deputy Hakob Hakobyan from the press release submitted by Hakobyan’s attorney, RA Justice Minister Gevorg Danielyan assigned head of the penitentiary to provide the deputy with sufficient medical care, including permission for his personal doctor to enter his cell and check him.

According to press speaker for the Justice Minister Lana Mshetsyants, the Minister hasn’t received a letter neither from Hakobyan’s attorney or RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan. This means that the Minister, according to the press speaker, took the initiative to follow-up on the deputy’s health conditions.

Will Hakob Hakobyan be able to transfer to a regular clinic? Lana Mshetsyan replied that the Minister has assigned to do everything possible to improve the deputy’s health, but she wasn’t able to give a concrete answer to that question.
