JUDGE GAVE THE SAME REASONS/VIDEO/
Support A1+!The “Case of the Seven”-separate from the “March 1 case”- didn’t start today either. The injured parties demanded Mnatsakan Martirosyan to finally start the trial.
Let us recall that the 10 murders on March 1 have been attached to the “March 1 case”.
Jemma Vardumyan, mother of March 1 victim Davit Petrosyan, demanded the judge to recognize her attorney Artur Sakunts and said that her attorney has not been in court due to the postponed trials.
Injured Martin Yeremyan and the accused political prisoners also demanded the start of the trial.
After the demands of the injured and political prisoners, plaintiff Koryun Piloyan accused the political prisoners for the postponement of the trials.
Piloyan’s announcement filled the political prisoners with outrage.
Accused deputy Myasnik Malkhasyan remarked: “You are the ones postponing the trial so that you won’t reveal the reality. You are humiliating our people and our country with your actions.”
Judge Martirosyan postponed the trial to January 16 claiming that the accused are disrespecting the judge by not standing up and didn’t give them the chance to express themselves again.
Although journalists are told that the voices of the political prisoners are not heard because they are all talking at the same time, the fact remains that their voices are very clear when the judge or plaintiffs are talking.
During the trial, Deputy Hakob Hakobyan called all deputies who shut their eyes on the trial and the situation in the country immoral.
After his announcement, several pro-government deputies came to the trial and the presence of Prosperous Armenia Deputy Naira Zurabyan intensified the situation.
The political prisoners advised her not to come to court anymore and the relatives of the victims of March 1 left disappointed today as well.
Alla Hovhannisyan, mother of March 1 victim Tigran Khachatryan, doesn’t understand why the murders were attached to the “March 1 case”.
“It is a fact that my son was shot with special means and those guns were in the hands of soldiers. My son’s murder and the “Case of the Seven” are not connected,” said Hovhannisyan.
Today members of the pan-Armenian movement were screaming “Liberty” during the entire trial.
