VOICE OF “MIATSUM” UNHEARD BY NALBANDYAN AGAIN

Politics

The "MIatsum" national initiative was once again near the MInistry of Foreign Affairs building today with signs reading "Unity” and “Whoever hands over lands is a traitor”.

“We are going to make our voices heard as long as it takes Nalbandyan to meet with us. We have something to say to him. It is crucial for him and it is in our interests,” told “A1+” commander of the Shushi squadron Jirair Sefilyan.

“Miatsum” registered a higher turnout today.

“We have higher turnout each time and are happy to see young supporters as well. We’re sure that the Armenian people share our views because no normal person can accept betrayal of the nation,” told “A1+” participant of the Artsakh war Aghavni Sahakyan.

According to “Miatsum” supporters, not everybody in Armenia is aware of the treacherous acts of the administration in regard to the NKR conflict and that is why it continues to tour the Marzes and raise public awareness of the danger awaiting us with respect to the NKR conflict.

“Miatsum” supporters continue to present facts supporting the self-determination of NKR and that the liberated homeland is something to handover.

Nobody from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs approached the supporters today as they screamed “Artsakh-Armenia-Unity” for thirty minutes.

They have already sent two appeals to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, one of which deals with the threats facing Armenia and Artsakh and the other demands Nalbandyan to meet with the “Miatsum” supporters. The two letters remain unanswered.

Unlike the previous protests, police officers didn’t try to interfere. In fact, there were less officers standing by. They only counted the number of participants and realized that they shouldn’t stop the march.

Screaming “Artsakh-Armenia-Unity”, “Whoever hands over lands is a traitor”, “Miatsum” moved from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Northern Avenue.

“Miatsum” promised to inform of the next protest in advance. At the end of today’s protest, there was a call made to participate and follow-up on the legal proceedings of the “Case of the Seven”, which “Miatsum” evaluates as one of the administration’s treacherous acts.
