OSCE Parliamentary Assemblys Rapporteur on Nagorno Karabakh Goran Lenmarker thinks the conflicting sides can reach an agreement over the main principles by spring 2009, reports the special correspondent of Mediamax News Agency from Helsinki.
“The sides have never ever been so close to the conflict resolution,” Lenmark was quoted as saying.
“The settlement will be possible when the sides demonstrate political will power. I fully understand that it is not easy for the Presidents of the two countries to make crucial decisions but obviously it is time they did it,” said the Swedish parliamentarian.
