JHANGIRYAN”S CASE NOT TERMINATED
Support A1+!Vardan Jhangiryan’s health problems did not allow him to go to court today for his case on violence against an authority figure. Jhangiryan’s attorneys mediated Judge of the Yerevan Criminal Court Mnatsakan Martirosyan to terminate the case until Vardan Jhangiryan would be able to come to the court sessions. The attorneys presented documents that confirmed that Jhangiryan is in bed and has serious health problems.
Let us recall that Vardan Jhangiryan, who is brother of former Deputy Prosecutor General Gagik Jhangiryan, suffers from spinal tuberculosis. He was shot and beaten after being arrested on February 23 on the intersection of Argavand and as a result has had serious health problems.
The judge denied the mediation of the attorneys to examine the case in the consultation room.
The next session was scheduled for November 14 at 10:30 a.m.
