CALLING ON OPPOSITION TO PUT AN END TO MEETINGS

Politics

NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamian advised today to put an end to the opposition’s meetings. In response to the question as to how he pictures constructive work in a parliament where opposition deputies have only 7 mandates and the radical opposition, that is, the Armenian National Congress is out, Hovik Abrahamian said:

“I can’t help everybody get inside because I don’t have the right to do that. I will persuade them to participate in the 2012 NA elections and try to get seats in the National Assembly. I am calling on all political parties to put an end to the unproductive public meetings taking place on the streets of the city. I am ready to discuss any constructive proposal in parliament and include all public/political forces.”
