ERWAND ZAKHARIAN SUED
Support A1+!On October 3, 2008, the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia will hear the suit of the “Victims of State Needs” NGO against Yerevan Mayor Erwand Zakharian.
“We have sent numerous letters to Erwand Zakharian with a request to account for the choice of companies realising plantation in the “zone of alienation,” said Sedrak Baghdasarian, Chairman of the “Victims of State Needs” NGO.
He says the Mayor has introduced changes in Resolution 909 passed by the Government. Zakharian willfully changed “Give Deposits” Ltd with “Vizgon” Ltd. Later on we learnt that the latter has no right to realise plantation and so far has done nothing in the area but digging holes.
Sedrak Baghdasarian is also going to restore the rights of tens of citizens.
The Chairman of the “Protection of Right to Property” NGO Vachagan Hakobian says it's is five years the Mayor hasn't addressed the claims of the citizens.
It is due to mention that upon the request of the Yerevan City Hall, the Administrative Court has adjourned the court sitting by October 3.
The respondent wanted to get acquainted with the case material and petitioned the Court to invite the Office Implementing Projects to court sittings.
