Speaker of the National Assembly Tigran Torossian signed a decree on convening a special sitting at 6:30 p.m. September 10, under Article 70 of the RoA Constitution.

The National Assembly will consider the amendments to the Law on “Television and Radio” passed after the first reading. Under the draft law no tenders for TV and radio frequencies will be announced in Armenia by 2010. Supposedly, A1+ is again deprived of a chance to return to the air.

Note, the law was put on the NA agenda on September 9.
