AUTHORITIES ARE FRIGHTENED

The All Armenian Movement Center has received numerous alarm calls from different regions of the country claiming that public transport serving the transformation of people from regions into the capital has been banned. In some regions bus stations have been closed. Taxi services are ordered to “rest” for a day. As for the capital, public transport is ordered to stop working since 3:00 p.m. Thus, every time the All Armenian Movement organizes a rally, the authorities apply to the same illegal measures.
It is a violation of human rights, violation of free traveling, receiving and spreading information, holding free rallies, etc. The authors and organizers of these violations commit a crime. Such kind of criminal activities show that the authorities realize they do not enjoy people’s support and they are so much frightened at the revolt of the All Armenian Movement that they apply to any illegal action only to reduce the number of people participating in the rallies.
