“My petition is partly upheld. I expect that Malkhassian's restraint will also be reviewed,” said Melania Arustamian, Advocate of Miasnik Malkhassian.
Two days ago Melania Arustamian filed a petition to the head of the Investigation Group on March 1 Vahagn Harutiunian to move the defendant to hospital and to review the restraint.
Malkhassian complains of regular blood pressure changes, headache and sickness. The chief endocrinologist invited Malkhassian's family advised in-patient treatment.
“Malkhassian has lost 21 kgs over the past five months. Obviously, he has serious health problems,” says Melania Arustamian.
She is going to appeal Malkhassian’s detention at the European Court of Human Rights.
Reminder, Malkhassian was taken into custody on March 5. He is charged with calls for power usurpation and mass disorders.
