“WE DEMAND TO DISCLOSE MURDERERS”
Support A1+!The yard of the RoA Government was overcrowded today morning. People expelled from their homes “for the state needs” and relatives of Armenian servicemen killed during the military service gathered in front of the building shouting, “Robbers, thieves, go away!”
“It is already five years our problem hasn’t been tackled. The same unlawfulness continues in Eznik Koghbatsi Street. Residents are given $910 per a sq. meter and forced to make a contract otherwise they will be sent to the street,” said Vachagan Hakobian, Chairman of the “Protection of the Right to Property” NGO.
The protesters complained that they cannot afford a new flat with the proposed sum.
A few steps away the parents of the killed Armenian servicemen demanded to reveal the murders.
Gegham Sergoyan's father says his son was killed by a lieutenant for not wearing a belt and a hat.
“We sent our children to protect their homeland and not to be killed in military units,” said the father of Tigran Ohanjanian, killed in a Vardenis military unit.
The desperate parents say if the murderers are not discovered and punished they will stage a strike near the central assembly point and urge other parents not to let their sons join the army.
Note, Justice Minister Gevorg Danielian is to meet the parents of the murdered servicemen at 6.00 on July 3. The parents don’t cherish great hopes from the meeting.
“We want the murders to be disclosed,” they say.
