AMENDMENTS TO THE DISPUTED LAW SIGNED

On June 16 Serzh Sarkissian signed the amendments to the RoA Laws on “Military Police” and on “Conduct of Assembles, Meetings, Demonstrations and Rallies” and on the Labour Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The amendments alleviate the restrictions placed after the imposition of a 20-day emergency state in the Republic of Armenia. The amendments were endorsed by the national Assembly on June 11.
