In reply to A1+’s question concerning the post-election occurrences of March 1, ARF Bureau representative Hrant Margarian said, “Surely I would shoot if I were attacked. Who would like to be shot dead?”

I think that the government was not ready for the events. The government’s inexperience is inadmissible for me for if they were ready the events might not have been averted.

Asked who is to blame for the ten victims Hrant Margarian said it is upon the relevant bodies to reveal the details.
