RAFFI HOVHANNISSIAN WAS IN VAIN EXPECTATION
Support A1+!Leader of the “Heritage” Party MP Raffi Hovhannissian was not sure who would accept his invitation and take part in the evening discussions. Yesterday he invited leaders of the coalition government Serzh Sargssian, Gagik Tsarukian, Arthur Baghdasarian, Armen Rustamian and First President of RA Levon Ter-Petrossian to a roundtable discussion due in the Armenian Center for Strategic and National Investigations.
“We can find out who has accepted the invitation when the discussion begins. We truly expect that our politicians will sit round the table and discuss the project aimed at directing our people out of the national crisis”, Hovhannissian said before the discussion.
According to the leader of the “Heritage” Party explanations, excuses and emotions have lost their sense today. “We must realize the gravity of the moment and act. For this reason our doors are open to anyone.”
By the way, yesterday Raffi Hovhannissian was invited to a meeting in the Presidential Residence where the proposals for the realization of the PACE resolution terms were being discussed.
Hovhannisian considered it his duty to take part in the meeting as “Armenia is in the state of emergency.” “I find it important to state that in opposition-authority relations it is the people’s security that is most significant. The citizen of the Armenia has to feel protected by law and by right.”
To Raffi Hovhannissian’s great disappointment none of the invited politicians accepted his invitation to the discussion. The meeting was a failure.
