HRAYR KARAPETIAN WAS ELECTED NA VICE SPEAKER

Today with 97 pro and 1 con votes Member of the “Dashnaktsutyun” Party (Armenian Revolutionary Federation) Hrayr Karapetian was elected Vice Speaker of the RA National Assembly.

The position had been vacant since Presidential Candidate Vahan Hovhannissian resigned after the Presidential Elections, in February. Hrayr Karapetian, aged 45, had been leading the “Dashnaktsutyun” Parliamentary Faction since 2003. From now on the faction will be led by Vahan Hovhannissian.
