SILENT PROTEST ACTION IN KIEV

As scheduled beforehand, the participants of the 5th Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy held a protest action near the RA Embassy in the Ukraine at 12:00 local time. Representatives of the Armenian Community joined the protestants.

The protestants, representatives from the USA, Norway, Russia, Georgia, Belorussia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Armenia, stood in silence with lit candles and laid flowers in front of the Embassy. In this way, they honoured the memory of the March 1 events and remonstrated against the inauguration of Serzh Sarkissian.
