POLICE CAR CRASH
Support A1+!A Police car transporting prisoners from the court crashed into a “Mercedes” near Kentron and Nork-Marash First Instance Court at about 14:00. The accident resulted in a serious traffic jam. The “Mercedes” was utterly destroyed.
Witnesses say the police car itself crashed into the “Mercedes” because of a terribly high speed. Note that a few days ago lots of journalists had witnessed a similar police car enter and leave the same courtyard.
Zhora Vardanyan, President of Kentron and Nork-Marash First Instance Court, said he was unaware of the accident particulars and had just accidentally looked out of the window spotting the police car and the jam in the street. Besides, the car was already out of the courtyard. It is up to the traffic policemen to reveal the details.
Asked about the number of prisoners in the car, Zhora Vardanyan answered: “As far as I know they weren’t the prisoners of our court. I can definitely say there were some prisoners in the car but I am not sure about the number.”
The Police will provide information later.
