OYP MEMBERS TEAR OFF PARTY CARDS
Support A1+!Nikol Pashinian, member of the “Alternative” Public-Political Initiative presided over today’s rally at Liberty Square. The latter informed the ralliers of a political agreement signed between OYP Leader Arthur Baghdasarian and HHK Leader Serzh Sarkissian earlier today.
The news came as a shock to everybody, and people began shouting, “Shame, shame!”
According to the Alternative member, the authorities have deceived people for ten years, but, thanks to God, people no longer believe their words and promises and “the oppositionists’ mines blow up one after another.” Our popular movement is speeding up.
The authorities want to delude people and play upon their consciousness.
According to Pashinian, the authorities did their best during the election “to push Arthur Baghdasarian to the second place but they failed. The administrative levers were equally used for Serzh Sarkissian and Arthur Baghdasarian during the campaign. Some Armenian settlements were to vote for Serzh Sarkissian, others for Arthur Baghdasarian.
And although they employed electoral resources and faked the election, they failed to act against people's will and realise their scenario.
I remember Arthur Baghdasarian shedidng crocodile tears from this platform. He said Serzh Sarkissian wanted to kill him.”
“Yes, Serzh has killed you morally and not physically. He brought you to nought. You ceased your existence as a political figure and as a civilian. You are already an ordinary man.”
To note, after Nikol Pashinian’s speech two OYP members mounted the platform and tore off their party cards, thus showing their disappointment at their leader.
