ARMEN HARUTYUNYAN MET PEOPLE ON HUNGER STRIKE
Support A1+!The working group, which was set up by the RA Human Rights Defender’s commission, met with the 10 people who went on huger strike on 24 February. During the meeting they found out that some people on huger strike had various health problems and they might need an immediate medical help at any moment.
Taking into account that by the Article 38 of the RA Constitution every person has the right to get a medical assistance by the law, the RA Human Rights Defender Armen Harutyunyan has appealed to the Yerevan Mayor with an official letter, offering him to charge corresponding healthcare departments of Yerevan Municipality to support the people on hunger strike with medical help, as well as to set up medical duty.
