THEY DEMAND OSCE TO BE UNBIASED
Support A1+!A group of common citizens and representative of NGO complained of the assessments of international observers on the results of the presidential elections in front of the OSCE Office in Yerevan today.
“The OSCE Chairman-in-office should pay a particular attention to this. We are extremely discontent with the observation mission. We consider that their preliminary report on the elections disgraced them and strained the atmosphere. Their observations defame the name of the organization since they do not correspond to the reality”, said Anahit Bayandur, co-chair of the Armenian Committee of the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly during the protest action in front of the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
The participants of the action wanted to remind the OSCE the importance of their mission and to urge them to assess the elections properly.
“We want to say that their assessments incite the situation that our authorities do what they want to do. Human rights are violated here, but they do not take this into consideration in their report”, said a Yerevan citizen Lala Aslikyan.
They organizers of the action are going to send documents to the OSCE representatives all over the world and consider that this will save the situation. Many people call them from abroad and want to know how they can help them.
