FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE AT LIBERTY SQUARE

Politics

The first night at Liberty Square where the tent town-headquarters of the popular protest has been set up was cheerful. Thousands of people who gathered at the Square a sit-down protest sang, danced and joked for the most part of the night and talked to the first president Levon Ter-Petrossian who regularly visited the Square. One could see young boys and girls, grown-up people and even pensioners who spent the whole night at the Square.

Demonstrators kept on shouting, “Levon President!” “Serzh, go away!”
