SIT – DOWN STRIKE TO TAKE PLACE

The rally organized by Levon Ter-Petrosyan is held at the Liberty Square at the moment. The Square is crowded. Ararat Zurabyan declared that at 9/13 polling station the ballot papers were re-counted, and the number of Ter-Petrosyan’s votes had increased to 400. We tried to talk to the press secretary of the CEC Tatevik Ohanyan, who said: “You should call election districts to get information. We cannot provide information on final tabulation”.
The police announced that the rally was not permitted and it might have unexpected outcomes and called the people to go away. Ararat Zurabyan responded that this was not a rally, it was a sit –down strike and permission was not needed for its conduction.
