PROXY SWEARS AT JOURNALISTS

Politics

Our shooting groups have been visiting different precincts of Vanadzor Town since early morning. They have registered cases of vote stuffing and irregularities.

People have been bused to precincts across the country. Our reporters have come across cases of mass bribery.

An open vote has been conducted at Precinct 30/11, Levon Ter-Petrossian’s proxy Grigor Hakobian told A1+.

According to Grigor Hakobian, a certain Vahan, Serzh Sarkissian’s proxy, has been giving instructions at the precinct all day long.

By the way, the voting booths of the disputed precinct didn’t meet standards set by the Armenian Electoral Code.

Grigor Hakobian had voiced concern to the chairman of the commission in this respect but he had got no response.

“A proxy is free to stay at the precinct and participate in all events but he/she mustn’t intervene with the commission’s activity,” the chairman of the commission Avag Avagian told A1+.

To note, we were told that Serzh Sarkissian’s proxy had sworn at journalists in the presence of OSCE long-term observers.
