COURT DISMISSES NZhK APPEAL

On February 12 the Appellate Court of the Republic of Armenia dismissed the appeal of New Times Party (NZhK) Leader Aram Karapetian.

To remind, Aram Karapetian had appealed against the decision of First Instance Court of Kentron and Nork-Marash communities which had dismissed Aram Karapetian’s appeal against the Passport and Visa Department of the RA Police. The latter didn’t grant the NZhK leader a certificate of RA residence over the past ten years, thus depriving Aram Karapetian a chance to run in the presidential election.

Aram Karapetian is going to appeal to the Casation Court, NZhK member Hrachia Sargsian told A1+ today.
