AREN’T RURAL RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN POLITICS?
Support A1+!On February 4 presidential candidate Vahan Hovhannissian visited Parakyar Village where he spoke of Armenia’s future. Few people were present at the meeting. They explained the paucity by rural residents' indifference to politics.
Corruption, sponsorship and pressure are deeply rooted in the country. They originated in the 90s. I in a terrible plight. The authorities pledge things will soon better but I expect the worst. Who says that people have to choose between worse and the worst? I assure you that my team is the best and we are independent of any clans. I seek mutual trust from the electorate. Do not fear any threats or pressures. Do not fear to vote for me as you will see changes in a year,” the candidate said.
The next meeting was due in Artemed Village. A large crowd was waiting for Vahan Hovhanissian in the village. It should be mentioned that both the village head and the school principal are ARF Dashnaktsutiun members.
The candidate has already visited Khoronk and Aratashen villages. The last meeting is due in Etchmiadzin.
