SHOULD WE EVANESCE?
Support A1+!It turns out that neither presidential candidate Tigran Karapetian nor his People’s Party (ZhK) have ever distributed bribes.
“I have never given anything to citizens expecting their votes. Nor have I made anyone vote for me. Yes, we dispense charity but we never ask anything in return. Otherwise we would have more than one million votes.
“They announce from rostrums that they combat election fraud. Do they want to mislead people? The parliamentary election was conducted only six months ago,” Tigran Karapetian says.
The ZhK leader complains that today people vote for a person and not for his programmes.
Tigran Karapetian says all candidates are worthy opponents, and he is ready for a debate with each of them. “I see that all candidates seek power. They seem to have forgotten that under the Constitution power lies with people. ”
Karapetian thinks none of the opposition candidates stands a chance to win the election. “It is a mere delusion,” he said.
The ZhK leader believes he will run in the second round. In reply to a journalist’s question regarding his contender in the second round, Tigran Karapetian said half-jokingly, “Am I not enough? Do you want me to take someone else along?”
In reply to A1+’s question whether he hadn’t noticed Serzh Sarkissian’s posters in the background during his meeting with Eghegnadzor voters, Karapetian said indignantly, “To tell the truth, I noticed the posters only after the meeting. When I got off the bus I only cared for people and didn’t look at the enviorns. Besides, one can come across Serzh Sarkissian’s posters at every step. Does it mean we must evanesce?”
