GEGHAMIAN UPHOLD OLD TRADITIONS
Support A1+!Presidential candidate and leader of the “National Unity” Party (AMK) Artashes Geghamian upheld the old tradition of starting pre-election campaign from Lori Marz. He was the first candidate to step Alaverdi on January 23.
Geghamian was escorted by AMK Deputy Chairman Koryun Arakelian and prosaist Hrachia Metevossian. The group was received with bread and salt.
The meeting took place in a hall because of unfavorable weather. The hall was overcrowded.
Koryun Arakelian presented Geghamian’s family, educational and political background. “Artashes Geghamian is the man capable of taking the country out of this ooze,” said Hrachia Metevossian while explaining his support for Artashes Geghamian.
After presenting his “Programme of Creation-2008,” Geghamian said, “Instead of speaking of their programmes the candidates denigrate each other.”
The AMK Leader also visited the village of Teghut to get familiarized with the existing problems
