HE PROSECUTED KOCHARYAN
Support A1+!Vahe Grigoryan, Zhirayr Sefilyan’s lawyer, who is in “Vardashen” penitentiary now, appealed to the Kentron and Nork Marash Community First Instance Court on 18 December to recognize the official’s acts, contradicting the RA Constitution and law, invalid.
The official is Robert Kocharyan and his anti-constitutional step is inaction, particularly, not providing RA citizenship to Zhirayr Sefilyan twice by simplified order. Even no decision was made to provide him citizenship or not, and the applicant was not properly answered. Kocharyan has violated 2-nd point of the Article 14 of the RA Constitution, according to which Zhirayr Sefilyan, who is an Armenian by his nationality, should acquire RA citizenship by simplified order. He has also violated 15-th point of the Article 15 and 2-nd point of the Article 49 of the RA Law “On Citizenship”.
Zhirayr Sefilyan demands Robert Kocharyan to discuss his 2003 and 2005 applications on the acquisition of citizenship, which comes out from 2 point of the Article 14 of the RA Constitution.
