“TOOK BACK HER GRATITUDE”
Support A1+!The “Heritage” faction is extremely discontent with the NA activities and estimates it negatively. Today members of the faction represented their activities, which they naturally estimated productive and noted that the 5 legislative initiatives headed by them were not involved in the NA agenda yet. Then they criticized each field separately.
The former Human Rights Defender and the NA Deputy Larisa Alaverdyan, who recently expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan for settling refugees’ problems, “took back” her gratitude. Mrs Alaverdyan has found out that the Government’s decision referred only to three refugees. “If we go on this way, we will enter the new millennium with the refugees’ problems”, said Larisa Alaverdyan.
“We do not have a good legal field”, said the NA Deputy Armen Martirosyan, estimating the legislative field, since their joint proposals with “Orinats Yerkir” party, in regard with the Electoral Code, was denied by the Government recently. He also reflected on the amendments to the law “On Simplified Tax”, “we will taste its fruits next year”. He noted that by the mentioned amendments certain fields would be concentrated in the hands of a group of people again.
Zaruhi Postanjyan talked about the problems in the legal field. She reminded of the political prisoners in our country, whose time had expired, but they did not want to release the prisoners. She also reflected on the issue of Gulyan’s assassination, “GALA” TV Company and the persecution of the Sukiassyans’ family.
Anahit Bakhshyan was astonished by the parliament and its leaders, who did not contribute to the deputies’ level and were against the programs, which foresaw seminars and trainings. “It turns out that our country does not need smart, educated, capable deputies”, says Anahit Bakhshyan. She was annoyed by the fact that the NA did not carry out one of its most important functions: did not listen to the reports of the Central Bank, National TV Company, Control Chamber, Human Rights Defender and other bodies. “If the parliament does not honor its commitments by law, who else should do this?”, wondered Mrs Bakhshyan.
Answering to the questions of journalists who the “Heritage” would support during the presidential elections, Stepan Safaryan noted that they would make a final decision on this when they received the answers of their tests sent to the candidates.
It should be mentioned that the “Republican Party of Armenia” refused to answer to the questions in the test.
