“POLITICAL ORDER”

The department of visa and passports has denied giving a certificate on the residence in the RA during the last 10 years. Today Aram Karapetyan presented the copy of his passport to the journalists to prove that he had been living in 64 apartment, 26 house in 1 Street in Davitashen Community since 1992. The Chairman of the “New Times” party also showed the certificate given to him by Alvina Zakaryan for the participation in 2007 parliamentary elections, where it was mentioned that during the last 10 years Aram Karapetyan had been the RA citizen.
Aram Karapetyan has appealed to the Court but he is confirmed that the Court will also obey the order and decline his appeal. But this will not stop Aram Karapetyan to fight to the end.
Aram Karapetyan is confirmed that fear causes actions against him. He considers that the authorities are afraid that he may be elected and are afraid of his propagate against the today’s authorities. He also mentions that the authorities are mainly afraid of the materials that Aram Karapetyan possesses.
He says that in any case the dossier that he has against the authorities will be made public on the TV by various opposition leaders.
Aram Karapetyan also presented the authorities future scenario: “The scenario of the elections is already drawn, Serge Sargsyan will try to become a president by force, the elections will be held in two stages and Serge Sargsyan will be elected by the results of the second stage. We need a powerful national wave to combat this and get rid of the authorities”.
Aram Karapetyan announced that even if he did not take part in the elections, the “New Times” party would go on visiting regions and meeting people, since his speeches animated the society.
“I will categorically call on the nation not to protect the functioning authorities”, said Aram Karapetyan. He mentioned that he would probably participate in the gatherings and support the true opposition powers that would not sell themselves and would not make Serge Sargsyan’s powers legitimate in the second stage.
Aram Karapetyan also underlined the importance of uniting around an ideology, that is to say getting rid of the functioning authorities.
