The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia adopted the state budget for Fiscal Year 2008 at today’s plenary sitting.

The budget was endorsed with 82 votes for, 2 votes against and 8 abstentions.

Two deputies of the Heritage party voted down the budget while the OYP abstained in the vote.

The exchange rate of the dollar is fixed at 325 drams, and that of the the euro at 470 drams
