NOGAIDELI RESIGNED
Support A1+!President Saakashvili will name a new prime minister at a cabinet meeting later today, the president’s press office has confirmed.
Prime Minister resignation automatically means resignation of the entire cabinet.
Georgian media sources had earlier in the day suggested that PM Nogaideli would be replaced by Lado Gurgenidze, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Georgia.
The cabinet is due to meet at 7 pm local time.
