Support A1+!“We shall soon publish the outcome of the check-ups and our residents will come to know how that businessman has cheated the Republic of Armenia,” RA President Robert Kocharian said with regard to the recent check-ups conducted in enterprises belonging to deputy Khachatur Sukiassian.
In reply to the question whether a businessmen should be pursued for his outrageous views, Robert Kocharian said, “I am not bound to be aware of all check-ups. As you know the state carries out a consistent tax policy, and all businessmen are provided with an equal footing.”
“As reported earlier, the list of tax-payers will have been published by the turn of the year, and you will see that most of our businessmen, including NA deputies, do not evade taxes. It means that people come to realise that the country has adopted an anti-corruption policy. There are people who are reluctant to pay taxes, and they are trying to politicize this issue, and are raising this rumpus to pay less taxes,” the RA President said.
Robert Kocharian states that well-off people should have heart remorse and allot part of their income to the state to solve social issues. “Peevishness leads to nowhere,” Kocharian said.
