RICE REFERRED TO RESOLUTION 106

Politics

U.S. State Secretary Condoleeza Rice referred to Res. 106 during a talk with Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babajan in the city of Ankara.

“We shall continue combat against the resolution. We call on Armenia and Turkey to resolve the conflict with joint efforts. We also urge the conflicting sides to contemplate over their futures. The two countries will prosper only in case they establish good terms,” U.S. State Secretary said.

Rice will leave Ankara for Istanbul to attend the International Regional Summit on Iraq's issue, Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty reports.
