SEARCH IN PENITENTIARY
Support A1+!October 29a painstaking search was conducted in the Vardashen Penitentiary, the committee supporting Zhirair Sefilian and Vardan Malkhassian reports.
The Security Department of the Justice Ministry at the head of Lieutenant-Colonel Varuzhan Eghiazarian searched the prison cells and the colony adjacent to the penitentiary.
Seven officers, three colonels, eight employees of unknown services, as well as fifteen masked servicemen of special groups participated in the search.
The penitentiary hasn’t been subjected to such a large-scale search, the witnesses state.
The ward of Zhirair Sefilian and Vardan Malkhassian was thoroughly searched but nothing was found there.
We assume that the search was unwarranted and was a well-planned “masquerade” aimed at imposing a penalty on Zhirair Sefilian and Vardan Malkhassian. They simply didn’t want the case to be submitted to the “independent commission” which was to consider the detainees’ conditional release.
It is still unknown whether their plans worked or not. The initiators also wanted to spoil Sefilian and Malkhassian’s relations with other detainees.
